Shelter 2

Release date: 9 Mar, 2015
Platforms: Steam, Good Old Games

Shelter 2 follows a mother lynx through her life cycle, starting as a pregnant animal preparing her den for the coming litter, giving birth, and facing the challenges of parenthood. Nurturing the young ones is an all-consuming task – besides finding food you must have a good den, drink water from nearby rivers, and above all be kept out of harm’s reach.

The beauty and brutality of nature go hand-in-hand in this stylised but thematically realistic depiction of animal life. As a lynx you are in the middle of the food chain and the tundra is rife with challenges for you and your cubs. Run through vast open landscapes, give birth to your cubs and raise and strengthen them by mastering your hunting skills. Explore the wild beauty of nature and do everything possible to prepare your family for adulthood.

Shelter 2 is part of the successful Shelter series where you play animals. The series consists of Shelter, Shelter 2, Paws: A Shelter 2 Game and Shelter 3. Shelter 2 has a higher graphical profile than its predecessor Shelter and a brand new soundtrack by Retro Family. It paints the wilderness in stylised depth that tracks the seasons in all their raw beauty.
